Requirements

• Extensive experience in AI and machine learning, particularly in e-commerce and social networking environments
• Hands-on experience developing feed recommendation and/or ads ranking algorithms
• ~8+ years of experience from roles such as Senior Machine Learning Engineer, Technical Lead, Senior Staff, and/or Principal Engineer
• Proven track record of tech-leading high-performing teams and driving impactful AI initiatives
• Visionary Thinking: Ability to conceptualize and execute AI strategies that align with business objectives and market dynamics
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• A genuine passion for leveraging AI to enhance user experiences and drive business growth in a dynamic startup environment

Responsibilities

• Spearhead the development and implementation of cutting-edge AI technologies for feed and shopping recommendation systems
• Lead and mentor a talented team of AI engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence
• Balance strategic oversight with hands-on involvement in end-to-end AI model development and experimentation
• Work closely with product, engineering, and other teams to integrate AI solutions seamlessly into our platform
• Stay ahead of industry trends, identifying and implementing new AI techniques and technologies to maintain our competitive edge
• Measure and optimize AI-driven metrics related to consumer engagement, conversion rates, and revenue generation
