Summary

Join Stripe's rapidly expanding Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) team as the Head of BaaS Revenue & Growth (Americas). Lead a high-performing sales team, driving strategy and operations to accelerate revenue growth across Issuing, Treasury, and Capital products. Develop and execute go-to-market plans, manage daily operations, and coach your team to achieve ambitious targets. This role requires extensive experience in technology sales, people leadership, and the financial services industry. You will be responsible for recruiting, developing, and motivating your team, fostering collaboration across departments, and ensuring high performance. Success in this role demands a proven track record of exceeding sales goals, building strong relationships, and navigating a dynamic, high-growth environment.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of technology sales experience
  • 5+ years of people leadership experience
  • 3+ years of experience in payments, card issuing, spend management, or financial services industry
  • Proven track record of high performance in a new business sales and existing customer upselling role
  • Ability to hire, train, and coach a high-performance sales team, and work in a matrixed environment
  • Ability to build cross-functional relationships, motivate others, drive collaboration, teaming & resolve conflict between diverse stakeholder groups
  • High energy, strong work ethic, disciplined execution skills, willingness to do whatever it takes to deliver results

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, develop and lead a team of product sales executives focused on the BaaS business within the AMER region
  • Create go-to-market plans and solutions to meet our customer needs, in collaboration with Product, Sales, Finance and Marketing stakeholders
  • Manage day-to-day operations, with a focus on performance against key sales metrics
  • Be accountable for driving revenue, increasing attach rates, and new client acquisition at high rates of growth
  • Coach and guide the team in developing consultative and solution-based sales skills through all facets of the sales cycle
  • Get hands on engaged in the largest, most strategic opportunities, leading executive relationships and helping the team win new customers
  • Inspire, motivate, and enable individual development to promote career growth of direct reports
  • Lead with clarity and context with a compelling plan in line with Stripe’s direction
  • Create structure and focus for GTM ideas and product sales campaigns that the product team is exploring. Drive execution and measurement. Analyze results and make recommendations for action in a timely manner
  • Constantly innovate and improve programs and program management mechanisms, suggesting new ideas, sharing best practices, and improving the business and customer engagement model
