Summary

Join Kao Salon Division as the Head of Global Salon Education, reporting to the Global Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. You will enhance the equities of Germany-based brands by developing and implementing global education strategies, training materials, and events. Collaborate with design and delivery teams and senior leaders to create a holistic education strategy across all platforms, including digital education and Kao Salon Academies. Track progress against education goals and manage the department's budget. This role requires a university degree, licensed hairdresser credentials, 15+ years of experience in the professional beauty industry, and international business experience. Requirements

• University degree or equivalent, ideally with international experience
• Licensed / accredited hairdresser
• 15+ years’ experience in professional beauty industry
• Experience in an International business
• Experience at global level regarding strategy development and regional / country experience with managerial experience
• Experience in Education and excellent comprehension on the use and training of Hair color, Cutting, Finishing
• Experience developing teams, content, concept development and go-to-market planning

Responsibilities

• Develop global education strategies for the Germany-based salon brands in line with overall brand strategy
• Develop and implement training principles, flagship artistic content and facilitation standards for regions/country educators and independent contractors and drive innovation with R&D and Marketing on time and within budget
• Develop holistic strategy for all Kao Salon Academies
• Evaluate and create strategies for all global/region/country platforms for digital education
• Develop strategy for global events
• Track progress against education goals across countries and regions to create a consistent report
• Be a member of Global Centre Lead Team to collaborate on Kao Salon Division overarching strategies, vision and tactics
• Ensure budget management for department and division and secure savings
