Join Bird, a company revolutionizing environmentally friendly transportation, as a City Sales and Account Manager in Canada. Requirements
- 5-7 years progressive experience in Sales or Government Relations, preferably both
- Ability to build, and/or strengthen relationships with city officials of key cities
- Ability to train others to build, and/or strengthen relationships with city officials of key cities
- Strategic ability to build processes that do not rely on third parties to build relationships with key city stakeholders allowing Bird to internalize relationship building and management
- Ability to travel up to 30%
- Applicants must be authorized to work without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work visa sponsorship
Responsibilities
- Responsible for growth into new cities in Canada
- Manage Canada city strategy focused on profitable growth throughout each province
- Maintenance of current city accounts responsible for ~40MM CAD
- Work collaboratively with Canada GM and Regional Operations Managers to meet and exceed City KPIs
- Work cross-functionally with Government Partnerships Team, Product and Operations to ensure Canadian markets access newest technology available to them
- Collaborate cross functionally to ensure that Bird fulfills all obligations required by the cities and ensure that the company remains responsive to local concerns as they emerge
- Build close relationships with Birdβs local General Manager(s) and local operations teams to identify, evaluate and prioritize opportunities to improve policy
