• Possess a news junkie’s instinct for spotting trends before they go mainstream
• Have proven experience as a writer and storyteller who can craft compelling narratives
• Have strong editorial leadership skills, with a track record of managing writers, editors, and contributors
• Possess SEO fluency —understand how search, distribution, and engagement work together to drive results
• Have a detail-oriented, deadline-driven mindset —catch errors before they go live and thrive under pressure
• Have a passion for revolutionising employment and a knack for thriving in fast-paced, remote-first environments

Responsibilities

• Set the Newsroom Agenda: Collaborate with Data and Insights teams to identify themes and topics that align with our content pillars and business goals
• Manage the Editorial Process: Oversee writers, freelancers, and expert contributors, ensuring deadlines are met and quality standards are upheld
• Edit Relentlessly: Polish every piece of content to be sharp, insightful, and impossible to ignore
• Create Must-Read Content: Write and develop original stories, breaking down complex ideas into engaging narratives
• Optimize for SEO: Work with SEO experts to ensure content is discoverable, using strategic keywords, smart linking, and data-driven distribution
• Measure Success: Track performance metrics, refine strategies, and ensure content meets engagement and conversion targets
