Requirements
- Diverse high-level QA experience, preferably in the game development industry
- Knowledge of modern testing methodologies, tools and approaches
- Managerial and leadership skills, both in direct and indirect management
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
- English B2 or higher
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the overall quality assurance strategy and objectives for the entire project
- Build and maintain close partnerships with key stakeholders, including the Director of Development, department heads, and product managers
- Actively participate in the creation of roadmap, analyzing development plans to proactively identify and mitigate risks, and serve as the project's subject matter expert on quality
- Manage the full employee lifecycle for your team, from hiring and onboarding to performance management and career development for both engineers and leads
- Develop and implement a skill assessment framework and competency matrix to provide clear growth paths for all QA Engineers
- Mentor your team on technical and organizational best practices
- Audit current testing cycles and CI/CD pipelines to identify bottlenecks and drive optimizations that reduce time-to-test
- Continuously research, propose, and implement new tools and approaches to streamline and improve the testing process
- Apply technical metrics
- Implement and track key technical quality metrics to monitor product quality
- Create and maintain QA dashboards to visualize quality trends and drive data-informed decision-making across the development organization
- Establish effective communication channels and quality interactions between QA, developers, analysts, and other disciplines to embed quality throughout the lifecycle
- Act as a central point for knowledge sharing by building and maintaining a comprehensive, up-to-date QA knowledge base for the project
- Plan the integration of automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline for practical value
