Summary
Join Pleo as a dedicated and innovative regulatory finance manager and contribute to simplifying spending processes for teams. Requirements
- Have 5+ year experience operating/managing client money accounts and setting up and enhancing controls in accordance with the UK FCA's payments and e-money safeguarding requirements or CASS rules
- Have experience in designing, implementing and verifying control environments in multinational organisations
- Have experience in an oversight and control role within financial operations, including documentation and auditing of those processes
- Have a Master’s degree in finance or accounting
- Have strong communication skills to build relationships with members of other teams and internal stakeholders
- Be approachable and open, always ready for partnering with other teams (such as tax, legal, HR, etc.)
- Be a “why” person, and focus your efforts on things that have impact - not just because it’s required
Responsibilities
- Ensure that Pleo’s internal processes and policies adhere to financial and legal standards
- Lead implementation and maintenance of Pleo’s internal financial processes and control environment, specifically for managing our customer's funds
- Monitor regulatory compliance and developments within UK (must-have) and EEA (nice-to-have)
- Set the strategy for the function and aligning it with wider company goals
- Manage projects independently
Preferred Qualifications
- Have experience with SOX compliance requirements
- Broad experience in designing, implementing and verifying internal control environments
