Health and Safety Working Student

Summary

Fluence is seeking a registered German university student studying in an Engineering field with a focus on HSE to join their international team for about 20 hours/week. The role involves supporting occupational safety and environmental management, collaborating with the HSE team, creating/updating operating instructions, investigating accidents/incidents, participating in audits and inspections, updating training materials, and handling administrative tasks.

Requirements

• You are a registered student (m/f/d) in a German university studying in a related Engineering field - preferably with a focus on HSE or similar
• You are fluent in English and German (at least B2). Other European languages are a plus
• You possess a valid residence permit in Germany
• You possess a valid drivers license

Responsibilities

• Support with occupational safety and environmental management
• Close collaboration with the HSE team
• Creation/updating of operating and work instructions
• Support in the investigation of accidents/incidents (Root Cause Analysis)
• Participation and independent implementation of audits and inspections
• Updating/preparing training materials
• Support with administrative activities (e.g. database maintenance)

Benefits

Working students are paid according to the IG Metall tariff agreement, which is currently 1.489,71 € for a 20h workweek
