Summary
Join Dane Street, a fast-paced Inc. 500 company, as a Physician Panel Manager. You will be responsible for maintaining the physician panel, negotiating costs, and onboarding new physicians based on client needs. Key duties include negotiating physician agreement terms, maintaining physician profiles and fees, deactivating/reactivating physicians, and handling onboarding paperwork. You will also assist with technical inquiries, source referrals, and collaborate with operational teams. The ideal candidate possesses physician recruitment experience in a healthcare/insurance setting and strong negotiation and communication skills. Requirements
- Possess Physician recruitment experience in a Healthcare/Insurance setting or equivalent transferable skill set
- Possess Working knowledge of physician networks, recruitment, medical specialties, and terminology
- Possess General knowledge of State and Federal compliance guidelines
- Possess Strong negotiation skills
- Possess Strong communication skills
- Possess Understanding of medical terminology
- Possess Critical thinking skills
- Possess Organizational skills
- Possess Ability to manage time efficiently and to meet specific deadlines
- Possess Computer literacy and typing skills
- Maintain an uninterrupted internet connection
Responsibilities
- Understand Client fee schedules and TAT requirements in order to Negotiate physician agreement terms
- Maintain physician profile instructions
- Maintain updated fees
- Maintain Doctor Groups
- Deactivate/Reactivate physicians
- Maintain W9 remit to changes
- Research and conduct outreach when new panel options are needed
- Handle administrative tasks relative to the maintenance of the physician panel
- Onboard new physicians based on Client needs
- Negotiate costs/contract terms according to pre-established guidelines
- Obtain necessary paperwork including agreement, application, CV, W9, NPDB
- Work with the Director of Operations to set the fees for agreements
- Provide dictation/Access DS instructions
- Assist physician reviewers with technical or case inquiries
- Source/Fulfill Open Service Requests for referrals requiring urgent network recruitment. Requires daily updates on sourcing efforts
- Work closely with operational teams to ensure the network meets the specific needs of the business relative to the various physician specialties
- Handle other duties & special projects, as assigned and based on business needs
Preferred Qualifications
- Possess an Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree
- Possess Business experience in a healthcare and/or insurance setting
