Summary

The job is for a Help Desk Specialist I at Agile Defense, providing IT support services to the PEO AVN Information Technology Support Services. The employee will perform general maintenance tasks, troubleshoot, and repair computer systems, maintain records of mobility devices, and provide technical assistance.

Requirements

  • Less than 5 years' experience
  • AA or 2 yrs technical school
  • A+ or DoD IAT Level I Certification (Must obtain within 6 months of starting)

Responsibilities

  • Performs general maintenance tasks, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems and peripheral equipment located throughout the organization
  • Maintains an adequate spare parts inventory of systems, subsystems, and component parts used in repair work
  • Responds to telephone calls and e-mail messages from customers with computer/software problems
  • Diagnoses the nature of the problem and walks the customer through the problem-solving steps
  • Provides technical assistance for mobility devices, including technical guidance, utilization and troubleshooting training, and configuration of new devices
  • Develops, updates, and maintains records of mobility devices within designated Government applications/solutions and mobility service provider
  • Provides technical assistance and support services, including receiving, logging, routing, resolving trouble calls, and follow-up reporting
