High School SPED Tutor

Summary

The job is for a remote tutor/teacher with special education experience to provide instruction to students in New York. The position allows for flexible scheduling, working from home, and setting one's own hourly rate.

Requirements

• Previous tutoring/teaching experience highly preferred
• Previous experience with special education, accommodations, and working with students with learning disabilities highly preferred
• At least a Bachelor's degree
• Ability to make learning fun and interactive, with the focus of the tutoring often determined by student questions and comments
• Ability to pass a background check if required

Responsibilities

Provide 1:1 or group instruction to students in New York

Preferred Qualifications

• New York Teaching Credential Required
• High School Special Education Experience Preferred
