Summary
Join CampusWorks as a Registrar Consultant and leverage your expertise to guide higher education clients in optimizing their registration operations and enhancing student experiences. You will collaborate with clients to streamline processes, ensure compliance, and deliver training. Engagements can be remote or on-site, including roles like Interim Registrar or leading process improvement projects. Full-time and contract (1099) opportunities are available. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in higher education registration, ERP systems, and leadership. Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience as a college or university Registrar
- Experience with a higher education ERP software (e.g., Ellucian Colleague, Banner, Jenzabar, Workday), including hands-on experience with the registration functionality and the ability to train end users
- Experience assessing registrar operations and making recommendations for process improvement, including reviewing and recommending policy changes, staffing and organizational alignment changes, and realignment of roles and responsibilities when appropriate
- Solid leadership skills, including facilitating diverse groups, creating consensus building and preparing the organization and individuals for change and ongoing continuous improvement
- Demonstration of superior communication skills and the ability to provide a consultative approach to end clients
Responsibilities
- Serve as Interim Registrar, providing day-to-day leadership of the registration department staff
- Provide oversight, direction, guidance, and coordination of the current registration projects and priorities
- Assess the efficiency of the registrar department
- Provide registration consulting to higher education clients on a variety of student services topics/challenges
- Design and deliver training
- Assist clients in how to best align policy, process, procedures, and personnel to effectively leverage registration solutions
