Engagements can be remote or onsite, encompassing roles like interim CHRO, project leadership, or HRIS optimization. Requirements
- 5+ yearsβ experience as a senior-level Human Resources professional in a higher education institution
- Prior work in a college or university as a CHRO, Vice President of Human Resources, AVP of Human Resources, Director of Human Resources, Director of Payroll, or Human Resource Business Analyst working with ERP/CRM products
- Experience with a higher education ERP system (e.g., Ellucian Colleague, Banner, Jenzabar, Workday)
- Experience assessing human resources/payroll operations and making recommendations for process improvement, including reviewing and recommending policy changes, staffing and organizational alignment changes, and realignment of roles and responsibilities when appropriate
- Solid leadership skills, including facilitating diverse groups, creating consensus building and preparing the organization and individuals for change and ongoing continuous improvement
- Demonstration of superior communication skills and the ability to provide a consultative approach to end clients
Responsibilities
- Serve as a Human Resources leader in higher education, providing day-to-day leadership of the human resources department staff
- Provide oversight, direction, guidance, and coordination of the current human resources and payroll projects and priorities
- Assess the efficiency of the human resources department
- Design and deliver training
- Assist clients in how to best align policy, process, procedures, and personnel to effectively leverage human resources and payroll solutions
