Join IntellaTriage's growing team of Hospice Triage Nurses and enjoy the benefits of working from home, providing compassionate care without the daily commute. You will receive three weeks of paid remote training and utilize cutting-edge technology to manage after-hours care delivery for hospice and home health providers. This fast-paced role requires experience in hospice, palliative, and end-of-life care, along with strong technological skills and the ability to handle multiple calls simultaneously. You must have or be willing to obtain a Compact RN license and live in a Compact US state. IntellaTriage provides a laptop and headset, but you will need your own high-speed internet and a quiet, private workspace.

Requirements

  • Have or be willing to obtain a Compact RN license
  • Live in/work from a Compact US state
  • Have high speed internet
  • Be tech savvy and enjoy a fast-paced environment
  • Have keyboard competence
  • Be available to work weekends 7:30a-6p CST
  • Have experience in hospice, palliative, end-of-life care and in fast-paced environments
  • Use your own high-speed internet
  • Have a quiet space, away from noise and distraction, while you work (privacy/HIPAA compliant space is required)
  • Be able to follow instructions, read directions, and be confident using technology
  • Complete 30 minutes paid shift prep prior to taking calls
  • Complete 30 minutes to 2 hours of charting at the end of your shift before clocking out
  • Remain in good standing and ensure your home state license remains active
  • Hospice, palliative, end-of-life care experience is required
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment: ED, surgical services, or critical care, etc
  • Be comfortable accessing multiple technology applications to document during calls
  • Be comfortable with typing in a fast-paced environment
  • Be fluent in English
  • Physically reside in the U.S. and be legally eligible to work for any employer
  • Be able to complete three weeks of remote paid training that is conducted during days and evenings
  • Be available to work Holidays as required
  • Be able to handle stress and multitask when receiving calls (minimum of 5 calls per hour on weekdays, and up to 8 per hour on weekends)
  • Be able to communicate empathically with patients while adhering to protocols

Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate care to patients
  • Manage after-hours care delivery for hospice and home health providers
  • Utilize cutting-edge technology to perform job functions
  • Handle multiple calls simultaneously
  • Complete charting and documentation
  • Follow instructions and read directions
  • Maintain CEU's as designated by the states in which you are answering calls
  • Attend in-services and additional training as needed
  • Pass background check and nurse licensing check
