Hospitalist

Summary

Join Beam Healthcare's growing team as a Hospitalist! This opportunity requires a current Wisconsin State Medical License (MD or DO), a minimum of 3 years of inpatient medicine experience, and is a W2 position (no 1099 or J1/H1 visas). The role involves a minimum of 14 shifts per 4-week block, with a competitive salary and no procedures required. Experience with short-term vents or NIPPV is necessary, as is comfort working in an open ICU managed by a hospitalist team. Additionally, there's an option to join the telemedicine team for nocturnal coverage from home. The position offers a short commute from the Madison area.

Requirements

• Possess a current Wisconsin State Medical License
• Be board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in inpatient medicine

Responsibilities

• Work a minimum of 14 shifts per 4-week block
• Be comfortable working in an open ICU managed by a hospitalist team
• Be comfortable with short-term vents or NIPPV
• Work closely with the hospital administrative team

Preferred Qualifications

• Be comfortable with telemedicine
• Have experience with nocturnal coverage
