Summary

Join Prestige Development Group as a Human Capital Junior Transactions Specialist to assist with onboarding new hires, manage personnel records, and ensure compliance with federal regulations.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of coding and processing personnel actions, including accurate coding of Standard Form personnel actions (Nature of Action codes, tenure, probationary period, etc.)
  • Experience with USA Staffing, particularly the Selection Manager and Onboarding modules
  • Proficiency with NFC/EPIC web systems and GRB
  • Basic knowledge of recruitment, placement, position management, classification, compensation, and personnel support services
  • Familiarity with OPM’s eOPF system
  • Proficient in Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat

Responsibilities

  • Input and verify employment documents in the USA Staffing system for onboarding new hires
  • Review pre-employment requirements and screen forms for accuracy before submission to Security and Medical Departments
  • Provide guidance on regulations and signature requirements for reviewing pre-military paperwork throughout the onboarding process
  • Calculate service computation dates (SCDs) in compliance with OPM processing procedures
  • Prepare and finalize personnel forms, reports, and correspondence
  • Process all documents related to SF-52s (Request for Personnel Actions) and SF-50s (Notification of Personnel Action), ensuring compliance with OPM guidelines
  • Review personnel actions for accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and complete necessary forms
  • Coordinate entry-on-duty (EOD) dates for new hires and maintain communication with candidates
  • Prepare offer letters and create/distribute employment-related correspondence and orientation materials
  • Ensure personnel documents for non-hire actions (e.g., promotions, pay adjustments) are scanned and updated in eOPF
  • Actively participate in conducting new employee orientation, providing information, completing new hire paperwork, and offering one-on-one counseling
  • Update the HC Dashboard Tracker with accurate and concise information
  • Code actions for input into the National Finance Center's (NFC) automated payroll and personnel systems, reviewing error listings to ensure timely submission
