Summary

Join Zensurance's People and Culture team as an HR Generalist on a 12-month parental leave contract, potentially extendable for 6 months. You will provide comprehensive HR support to senior HRBPs and their client groups, managing the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding. Responsibilities include driving HR initiatives, maintaining HR systems (Workday), collaborating with internal/external partners, and fostering a vibrant company culture. The role requires 5+ years of HR experience, expertise in employment law, proficiency in Workday and Google Suite, and a deep understanding of talent management. Requirements

  • 5+ years of Human Resources experience in an HR Generalist and/or Specialist role
  • Subject matter expertise in employment law, including ESA and Human Rights policies
  • Experience with Workday and Google Suite is mandatory
  • Demonstrated experience in leading, designing, and communicating internal human resources policies and processes
  • A deep understanding of talent management, the employee lifecycle, organizational culture, performance reviews, and disciplinary action
  • Strong prioritization skills to adapt to various projects and day-to-day tasks

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive HR support to our Senior HRBPs and their client groups
  • Manage the entire employee lifecycle, ensuring a smooth and supportive experience from onboarding and training to performance management, engagement, and offboarding
  • Drive HR initiatives, including rolling out company-wide policies and procedures and partnering with leaders to align employee needs with business objectives
  • Maintain HR systems and documentation, overseeing our HRIS (Workday), including absence management, and keeping all HR documentation, policies, and the employee handbook accurate and up-to-date
  • Collaborate on HR needs, working with internal and external partners to address HR and business requirements, legal risks, and investigations
  • Foster a vibrant culture by planning and executing employee events like celebrations, team-building activities, and recognition programs
  • Managing internal communications, such as Slack and other tools
  • Ensure a warm welcome for new hires, coordinating onboarding events and developing engaging activities to integrate new employees into Zensurance's culture
  • Assisting the HR Director with a variety of daily tasks and ongoing projects to contribute to the overall success of the HR team
