Join Akuo, a leading independent renewable energy producer, as an HV Grid Connection Engineer. Based at our Paris headquarters with remote work options, you will support projects worldwide, managing consultants and subcontractors on grid connection topics. You will assess risks, define technical specifications, and lead technical discussions with various stakeholders. This permanent position requires at least four years of experience in electrical infrastructure projects, international exposure, and proficiency in French and English. Requirements
- Minimum 4 years experience working on electrical infrastructure projects
- International and multicultural exposure, and proficiency in both French and English
- Skilled in relay coordination study
- Skilled in Medium & High voltage equipment standards, high voltage substations, grid connection studies, grid integration
Responsibilities
- Support on grid connection topics to projects worldwide
- Management of consultant and subcontractors in engineering topics
- Risk assessment related to grid connection topics for projects in different countries
- Definition of technical specifications for EPC contracts, purchase of equipment and engineering services
- Leading technical discussions with technical advisors, insurers and EPC contractors
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in Spanish as we have many projects in the Latam region
- Renewable energy experience
