Summary
The job is for a System Architect and Lead Software Developer at Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions Slovakia, working on the FragMagenta digital assistant project. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining speech applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and staying up-to-date with the latest trends in software development and language technologies.
Requirements
- Deep knowledge of voice solution including VXML, SIP, VOIP, Genesys Voice Portal, SS7, RIVR, AudioCodes SBC
- Knowledge of software solution design including infrastructure and sizing
- Experience with the creation of valid and modern interaction-concepts (Call Flows, Web Apps)
- Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, JavaScript, Python including object-oriented design
- Experience in software development (Java, Bicep/Terraform, Shell/Bash/Sql,….)
- Experience with release systems, versioning systems and CI/CD workflows and tools (Gitlab, Maven/Gradle…..)
- Experience with databases (relational/non-relational)
- Experience with application/web server (JBOSS, Tomcat, Apache)
- Experience with Cloud Environments (Azure/AWS)
- Technologies (RIVR, Spring, Spring Boot, EJB, Rest-Services, J2E, React, JSF, Javascript)
Responsibilities
- Development of speech applications including design, development, testing, rollout and maintenance
- Design of scalable and robust software solutions (voice applications, web frontend, backend) including infrastructure, sizing and interaction between the components
- Collaborate with product owner and other developers to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code using modern programming languages and technologies
- Continuously refactor and improve existing codebase to ensure code quality and performance
- Last Level support for Operation
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in software development and language technologies
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
