IMDS Quality Engineer

Summary

Requirements

• A strong background in Materials Science, Chemistry, or Physics
• At least two years of industry/laboratory’s experience, advantage would be experience in the field of quality, IMDS and compliance
• Fluent in English, strong communication and analytical skills
• Focus on detail
• Enthusiasm for collaboration and innovation

Responsibilities

• Be at the forefront of global compliance, working directly with automotive manufacturers and downstream suppliers
• Evaluate and prepare material data sheets using the iPOINT and IMDS systems
• Ensure compliance with international material composition standards
• Consider restrictions of substances in an automotive industries based on GADSL
• Support suppliers in data entry processes
• Monitor and implement regulatory changes and compliance requirements
• Collaborate with various KOSTAL departments to streamline quality processes
• Leverage and improve your expertise in IT systems, such as iPoint Compliance Agent, SAP and CIM Database
