Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in software project management or Agile software development, with at least 3 years in a people or product leadership role
  • Strong experience in portfolio project management, risk assessment, and cross-team coordination
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and Kanban, and success in managing Agile teams
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present technical and project-related updates to stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to drive process improvements across multiple teams
  • Experience using project management and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and assess risks associated with implementation project deliverables
  • Develop and maintain project-specific timelines and status reports for complex clients
  • Build and communicate status reports, ensuring project risks are identified and mitigated
  • Provide managers with risk mitigation strategies, including temporary resourcing adjustments
  • Present go-live risk assessments and status updates to Product Development leadership
  • Create and maintain project documentation and reports within Confluence
  • Ensure a smooth transition of Statement of Work (SOW) requirements from Sales to Product Development to Service Delivery, integrating backlog planning and forecasting
  • Act as the first escalation point between the Service Delivery team and the Product Development team to resolve blocked items and facilitate smooth communication
  • Coordinate collaboration across teams for projects with dependencies across product teams
  • Monitor go-live date changes and ensure impact assessments and adjustments are implemented
  • Maintain strong communication with the Service Delivery department and leverage conflict resolution skills to address escalations effectively
  • Lead a small Agile development team responsible for rendering custom billing statements and collection letters
  • Provide technical direction, mentorship, and guidance to the team, including a team lead and three engineers
  • Ensure rendering efforts are executed efficiently and cost-effectively
  • Oversee Agile processes for the rendering team, including stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog management
  • Manage team performance, including hiring, development, and fostering a collaborative culture
  • Optimize rendering workflows to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables
