Summary

Requirements

  • Possess logistics/courier route management experience along with a background in contracting drivers, route scheduling and customer service skills
  • Be analytical with an understanding of data
  • Demonstrate internal/external relationship building, customer service focus, financial and business acumen
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism, composure and calmness throughout all levels of implementation and assigned projects
  • Have Basic MS Office Programs (Outlook, Excel, and Word) experience
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license and clean, functional vehicle
  • Have a High school diploma
  • Have 2+ years implementation project management experience or within a related industry

Responsibilities

  • Ensure assigned implementation projects are completed in a timely and cost effective manner
  • Maintain the service quality of our customer’s implementation
  • Implement and troubleshoot technology and processes in the field while working effectively with various departments during Implementation projects
  • Be available to travel weekly with flexibility for some weekends to meet the company’s needs in all divisions (approximately 80-95% of required travel)
  • Assist with the training of Field Operation Managers during Implementation to meet company requirements and standards
  • Assist operations experiencing customer service failures
  • Provide support to the leadership over assigned duties such as: field operations, training and/or deployment of new technology, site audits, etc
  • Understand the scope of a project and proactively align or adjust priorities with broader goals
  • Project manage small to medium implementations along with assisting on larger scale implementations
  • Excel with the creation, organization and execution for all aspects of KPI’s, orientation guides, operational SOP’s and implementation planners for small to medium implementations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Have a College Degree or equivalent experience
  • Have previous Operations Manager experience in the transportation industry
  • Have Six Sigma Certification
  • Be available to work extra hours, weekends, and holidays
