Summary

The job is for an experienced research and development team member in the field of metabolic diseases, particularly Type 2 Diabetes, to support product, marketing, and sales teams at Perfood. The role involves planning studies, building a network of experts, and overseeing clinical studies.

Requirements

• Completed higher education with a doctorate (Medicine, Natural Sciences, Health Sciences, Pharmacy, etc.)
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the field of metabolic diseases and particularly Type 2 Diabetes mellitus
• Relevant experience in clinical research and profound understanding of the clinical care of patients with Type 2 Diabetes and other metabolic diseases, including treatment guidelines
• Willingness to take on personal responsibility
• Excellent German and English language skills in speech and writing
• Good PC skills, particularly with MS Office programs
• Excellent organizational skills, independent and structured work style, and decision-making ability
• Empathy, motivation, flexibility, initiative, independence, communication skills, reliability, and enjoyment of teamwork
• Understanding of (business) economic conditions and the effects of R&D investments on business development are beneficial

Responsibilities

• Support metabolic disease-related medical and scientific questions for Perfood's product, marketing, and sales teams
• Build and maintain a network of relevant clinical/scientific experts, institutions, societies, and research groups in the field of Type 2 Diabetology
• Take responsibility for planning studies related to metabolic diseases, primarily Type 2 Diabetology
• Create study plans and documents
• Support the conduct of Perfood's clinical studies and oversee qualified research centers and external service providers (e.g., CROs)
