Summary

Join Longbow Advantage, an end-to-end warehousing strategy company, as an Industrial Engineer. Lead and manage the implementation of Warehouse Management/Labor Management systems for clients. Provide guidance, leadership, and project management to ensure successful design and workflows. Conduct time and motion studies, analyze results, and create engineered labor standards. Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Industrial & Systems Engineering
• Experience with Warehouse Management/Labor Management systems (JDA/Blue Yonder preferred)
• Experience and understanding of distribution center environment
• Experience with stat/data analysis
• Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to advise/present in front of senior leadership and/or large group of floors employees
• Strong Excel-based background, regression analysis, and data-mining techniques

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the implementation of Warehouse Management/Labor Management systems for clients
• Provide guidance, leadership, project management, and ensure overall design and workflows are delivered successfully
• Serve as a project lead and provide current state analysis of client's operational workflows as well as deliver future state design
• Serve as a key contributor in hands-on system configuration, integration testing, user acceptance testing, client training, and go-live support
• Work across cross-functional teams both internal and client
• Conduct time and motion studies and work measurement tasks for development of engineered labor standards, cost-benefit analysis, and process re-engineering activities
• Analyze results of various studies and assist in the creation of engineered labor standards
• Development of project proposals, presentations, and new client activities as requested
• Provide industrial engineering expertise to cross functional teams to deliver improved manufacturing facilities and processes
