Requirements
- Possess MSN and DNP (or MSN and PhD in nursing) degrees
- Have a minimum of 1-2 years online teaching experience at the graduate level
- Possess an active unencumbered compact RN nursing license (multi-state)
- Have subject matter expertise in the course of instruction
- Possess excellent communication, motivational, and instructional skills in a diverse and non-traditional environment
- Obtain Illinois nursing license (if not already obtained) prior to teaching
Responsibilities
- Provide students with an approved Adtalem Global Education syllabus that follows a template established by the local campus, and which includes the terminal course objectives
- Use appropriate technological options for online technologies and course-related software, including Websites, e-mail, and online discussions
- Model effective oral and written communications that engage the students, provide clarity, and improve student learning
- Demonstrate consistency and fairness in the preparation and grading of exams, and provide timely feedback to students
- Complete and perform other duties as assigned
- Comply with all policies and standards

Compensation rate between $715/Earned Credit Hour to $1,950/Earned Credit Hour, depending on the candidate’s education and experience
