Information Security Analyst

Requirements

• Strong understanding of security principles, protocols, and best practices (e.g., NIST, OWASP Top 10)
• Expertise in common security tools and technologies (firewall, IDS/IPS, SIEM, vulnerability scanners, endpoint security)
• A basic knowledge and understanding of business and technical cybersecurity and risk management concepts and methods

Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize a suite of security tools, including EDR, email security, vulnerability scanning (endpoint, server and application), DLP (email), cloud security posture management (CSPM) and security information and event management (SIEM)
• Lead investigation of security alerts
• Follow incident response procedures to contain threats and restore systems
• Perform root cause analysis of security incidents and implement corrective actions
• Develop and implement security policies, standards, and procedures
• Research emerging security trends, threat vectors, and vulnerabilities
• Partner with development teams to integrate security by design principles
• Collaborate with teams to integrate security considerations in projects
• Contribute to company-wide security awareness training
• Document security incidents, investigations, and resolutions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in scripting/coding for automating tasks (e.g., Python, PowerShell)
• Familiarity with cloud security concepts (AWS, Azure, etc.)
• Some experience with security and risk-based standards such as ISO2700X, ISO31000, NIST800 and PCI-DSS and other relevant security risk standards and technologies
• Experience working in a financial company/payment service provider company supporting global operations
