Summary

Reporting to the IT Leader, you will implement requirements set by the Information Security Department. This position requires expertise in configuring and troubleshooting security on software and hardware, responding to security incidents, and managing various security tools. Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Information System Security, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Five or more years of work experience as a System Security Engineer or related position
  • Certifications such as GSEC, CompTIA Security +, GCTD, CIS, (ISC)Β², or any other relevant Security related certificates
  • 4 years proven experience developing, operating and maintaining security systems
  • In-depth knowledge of security protocols and principles
  • Strong IT background
  • Must have a deep understanding and familiarity with: MDM Softwares like Kandji and Microsoft Intune
  • Must have a deep understanding and familiarity with: Windows Workstation Vulnerabilities
  • Must have a deep understanding and familiarity with: Vulnerability management and patching
  • Must have a deep understanding and familiarity with: EDR Experience: such as Crowdstrike, Sentinel One, Sophos, etc
  • Must have a deep understanding and familiarity with: DLP Applications: such as Fortra, Proofpoint, Teramind
  • Must have a deep understanding and familiarity with: Identity Providers such as Okta
  • Must have a deep understanding and familiarity with: Email security, Data Loss Prevention using Google Workspace
  • Must have a deep understanding and familiarity with: Cloud Delivered Firewall Management such as Palo Alto Prisma Access
  • Must have a deep understanding and familiarity with: SSPM Applications such as Adaptive Shield

Responsibilities

  • Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain security requirements on software and hardware
  • Patching Vulnerabilities
  • Deploying Security Tools
  • Security Audits. Must have understanding of Security Control Requirements pertaining to audits such as SOC II, PCI, SOX, etc
  • Responding to security incidents
  • Policy updates such as conditional policy, password policy, etc
  • MDM Solution Management
  • Cloud Delivered Firewall management
  • SaaS Application Security Management
