Information Security Engineer

Summary

The job is for a Security Policy Specialist at Trendyol, an expanding e-commerce company with a hybrid work model. The role involves implementing security policies, maintaining compliance with various regulations, and assisting in user awareness programs.

Requirements

• Proficiency in developing information security policies and procedures
• Being a critical thinker, with strong problem-solving skills
• Having Project management skills
• Knowledge and understanding of relevant legal and regulatory requirements, such as PCI-DSS, KVKK, GDPR and BDDK regulations

Responsibilities

• Assisting the development and implementation of security policy, standards, guidelines and procedures to ensure ongoing maintenance of security, risk, and compliance
• Identifying security risks, creating and monitoring an action plan to eliminate risks
• Maintaining KVKK, GDPR, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001 compliance and periodic audits and controls within this scope
• Conducting technical reviews for new features and identifying privacy and compliance concerns
• Helping to reduce information security risks generated by all functions and third parties
• Taking part in periodic and effective user awareness programs

Preferred Qualifications

• Having CISSP certification (preferred)
• 2+ years of experience with Data Protection and Banking regulations (preferred)
• Having experience with coding and system design review (preferred)
