Summary
Join Pine Gate Renewables as an Information Technology Security Analyst and play a hands-on role in developing and maintaining comprehensive IT and cybersecurity programs. You will assess, design, and implement security measures, ensuring compliance and mitigating risks across the company's technology ecosystem. Requirements
- Demonstrated capability to assist in developing information technology and cyber security programs based on accepted security frameworks
- A minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible experience in hands-on application of information technology and cyber security
- Thorough understanding of ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, and NIST CSF, including controls, guidance, and certification. Ability to explain the strengths and weaknesses of each framework
- General knowledge of the utility industry (e.g., power generation, transmission, distribution) and related regulations, including NERC CIP. Ability to address utility-specific cybersecurity risks
- Experience with operational technologies (SCADA, ADMS, DERMS, EAM, GIS). Strong understanding of OT security challenges and implementing security controls
- Experience with Microsoft 365 administration and Azure security services, including security configurations, compliance policies, and threat detection
- Exceptional Communication and Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills, capable of resolving user issues and communicating technical concepts clearly to all audiences
- Bachelorโs degree in Computer Science, Computer Technology, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or a related field
- Required Certification: CISSP
Responsibilities
- Perform a hands-on role in all areas of information technology and cyber security management
- Develop protocols, procedures, and training to protect all fleet assets
- Implement the appropriate security framework for compliance requirements
- Maintain records of systems and resources to ensure ongoing compliance
- Adapt to competing demands, evolving threats, and new responsibilities
- Additional duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- General knowledge of utility industry and the challenges facing the industry as well as an understanding of utility processes/programs and regulations including NERC CIP
- Experience with operational technologies (SCADA, ADMS, DERMS, EAM, GIS)
- Cybersecurity auditing experience
- Advanced Auditing Skills: Experience with cybersecurity audits (internal, SOC 2, ISO 27001), including planning, execution, and remediation
- Relevant certifications are a plus
- Experience in training is a plus
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or related fields
- Desirable Certifications: CRISC, CISM, CCSP, CEH
