Summary

Join our team as an experienced Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Engineer to design, build, deploy, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure using cutting-edge automation technologies.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of deep experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies and best practices
  • 3+ years of experience with configuration management methodologies, with preferred expertise in Ansible
  • 1+ years of hands-on experience managing and working with Kubernetes clusters
  • 1+ years of experience building, maintaining, and deploying custom container images with Docker
  • 1+ years of experience with Packer for automating AMI creation
  • 1+ years of experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI or similar tools
  • Proven experience working with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS
  • Strong knowledge of Terraform, Helm, and other DevOps/IaC tooling
  • Familiarity with DoD Enterprise DevSecOps Reference Design and best practices in a secure environment
  • Experience working in a distributed, cloud-based environment
  • US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Terraform and Helm
  • Build, maintain, and deploy custom container images using Kubernetes and Docker
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless deployments, with a focus on GitLab CI or similar tools
  • Manage and automate Amazon Machine Image (AMI) creation using Packer
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide automation guidance to remote teams, ensuring customer requirements are met
  • Implement, test, and maintain automation frameworks, creating comprehensive documentation for all IaC and configuration management activities
  • Provide technical leadership and act as a subject matter expert (SME) for DevSecOps and cloud infrastructure best practices
  • Ensure compliance with DoD Enterprise DevSecOps Reference Design and other security standards as needed
  • Engage with clients to resolve escalations, provide technical customer service, and drive customer satisfaction
  • Maintain strong working relationships with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders
  • Utilize monitoring tools such as Grafana, Fluentbit, and Loki to ensure infrastructure stability and performance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Ansible for configuration management
  • Familiarity with technical customer service and escalation management
  • Strong communication skills and ability to lead internal and external client-facing meetings
