Infrastructure Tech Lead

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Infrastructure Tech Lead or Cloud Engineer with a strong understanding of cloud architecture and best practices
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud providers AWS, Azure, GCP
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless computing
• Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VPN, DNS) and security best practices
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash) for automation and configuration management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS, Azure, GCP to meet business requirements
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates
• Implement and manage cloud services from serverless, over containers to “classical” IaaS
• Ensure adherence to security best practices and compliance requirements
• Lead, mentor, and coach project teams of engineers, providing technical guidance and support
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure and operational procedures
• Stay abreast of the latest cloud technologies and trends, evaluating and recommending new solutions to improve efficiency and performance
• Drive innovation and automation within the infrastructure team, promoting the adoption of best practices and cutting-edge tools

Preferred Qualifications

Relevant cloud certifications e.g. AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect are a plus
