Summary

The Inside Sales Representative role is a remote position within Distinguished Programs, a leading national insurance Program Manager. The job involves dual responsibilities as an Inside Sales Representative and sales support/operations representative for the Community Associations program team. The role requires at least 3 years of experience in the Property & Casualty insurance industry, a P&C insurance license (preferred), a Bachelor’s Degree (preferred), proficiency in Microsoft Office, and experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct broker outreach to new and existing brokers to support the Community Associations program strategic growth initiatives and selling of products
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing brokers through various channels including telephone and email correspondence
  • Identify and promote product cross-selling opportunities with brokers
  • Assist prospecting efforts of Business Development Manager and/or Sales Executive
  • Serve as the primary support for Business Development Manager and/or Sales Executive
  • Review broker inquiries to determine what appropriate action is needed
  • Promote underwriting preferences and capabilities with brokers
  • Collect and manage competitor information and share with colleagues
  • Manage broker registration and reach out with an introduction welcome call
  • Support with broker portal and other IT related broker inquiries
  • Maintain Salesforce brokerage and contact data
  • Coordinate brokerage gatherings, industry conferences and other team meetings

Preferred Qualifications

  • P&C insurance license
  • Bachelor’s Degree
