Summary
Join the OTIP Group of Companies (OGC) as an Integration Engineer and contribute to a supportive and inclusive work environment. You will be responsible for planning, designing, and implementing integration processes, developing and implementing solutions that integrate applications and processes across OTIP, and ensuring seamless data integration. Collaborate with stakeholders, support quality engineers, perform maintenance and monitoring, and investigate process automation. The role requires a post-secondary degree or equivalent experience, 4+ years of relevant experience, and expertise in Azure technologies and API development. Requirements
- A post secondary degree or higher in engineering, computer science or information technology or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of relevant work experience in a similar role
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Hands on experience with Azure Technologies: Azure Compute, Azure DevOps, Azure Integration Services, Azure Monitoring, Azure Network, Azure Storage
- Demonstrate understanding of cloud technology fundamentals and cloud-based security concepts
- Experience with C#, .Net, and NuGet
- Demonstrated ability to create, maintain and test APIโs across a variety of platforms and systems
- Demonstrate knowledge of API driven automated data integration
- Familiarity with Experience-Process-System 3-tier integration architecture
- Ability to write technical and operational documentation
- Ability to take intelligent risks, generate new and valuable ideas and innovative and creative business solutions
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate and engage effectively with both technology and business partners
- Highly analytical individual with strong attention to detail
- Highly motivated communicator with strong customer service acumen
Responsibilities
- Handle all OTIP integration requirements
- Design and execute solutions to integrate data across OTIP applications while ensuring compliance with data regulations and guidelines
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across the business to understand integration requirements, coordinate with the team to implement various solutions for business processes and perform corrective measures as needed
- Discover and understand the various platforms and systems in use and their integration points and develop new integration channels
- Support the Quality Engineers in developing and performing Integration tests
- Perform routine maintenance and monitoring to ensure integrations are optimized and healthy
- Record, track and report integration performance and quality metrics
- Provide day-to-day operational support and technical support by responding to inquiries related to the integration processes and support their use
- Investigate and drive automation of the most common and repeatable processes
- Identify and communicate product and project risks
- Participate in Agile ceremonies
- Support the various COEs in their continuous improvement activities
Preferred Qualifications
Az-204 and/or Microsoft certified would be considered an asset
