Intel Specialist

Summary

Join Messari's Intel team as a key contributor to a leading crypto intelligence tool used by top investors and exchanges. You will be responsible for identifying key events on various blockchain networks and providing actionable summaries for our enterprise customers. This involves actively tracking network and application-related events, updating internal systems with analyses, and conducting diligence on new products and smart contracts. The role requires a deep understanding of dApps, L1/L2 networks, and their infrastructure. You will need excellent writing skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced remote environment. This is a unique opportunity to become an expert in the inner workings of Layer-1 and Layer-2 networks while contributing to an industry-leading platform.

Requirements

• Experience using or contributing to crypto projects
• Strong understanding of industry terminology and trends
• Knowledge of L1/L2 networks’ and applications’ governance processes
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced remote environment and confidently make decisions with minimal oversight
• Excellent writing and written communication skills
• Intrinsically motivated to learn about a wide range of networks and applications

Responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of various dApps, L1/L2 networks, and their related infrastructure, governance processes, product offerings, and native tokens
• Write and publish short-form research on over 500 assets, synthesizing information specific to key events, for our enterprise customers
• Actively track and monitor a wide range of network and application-related events to identify signals that are of interest to project stakeholders including but not limited to updates, releases, launches, vulnerabilities, and key parameter adjustments
• Update internal systems to publish condensed analyses on complex network and application-related events to accurately communicate valuable decision-making information in a timely manner
• Conduct diligence around new products, smart contract platforms, scaling solutions, upgrades, and the associated tokens
• Maintain frameworks and processes to ensure valuable information is documented across Messari’s Intel and Governor products in real-time
• Regularly participate in projects’ communication channels including but not limited to Telegram, X, and Discord

• You have a strong presence on crypto Twitter or other relevant social channels
