Summary
Join CannonDesign as an Interior Designer and be an integral part of multi-disciplinary design teams, working under the direction of project leadership. You will plan and design interior spaces for commercial facilities, from conceptual design to construction administration. Responsibilities include developing construction documents, designing floor plans and elevations, researching product selections, reviewing building codes, conferring with the design team, coordinating with the MEP team, and preparing renderings and presentations. A Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field and 2 years of relevant experience are required. Proficiency in Revit, Rhino, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, Enscape, InDesign, and Illustrator is also necessary. The salary range is $67,000 to $77,000 annually, with potential for discretionary bonuses and a full benefits package.
Requirements
- Bachelorโs degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture or related field
- Must have 2 yearsโ experience in the following areas: Planning and design of interior spaces from conceptual design to construction administration for commercial facilities including developing construction documents
- Designing & documenting floor plans, ceiling plans, pattern plans, elevations & room finishes
- Researching product & finish selections
- Reviewing building & life safety codes
- Conferring with design team on FFE
- Coordinating with MEP team; performing 3D modelling using Revit, Rhino, AutoCad, & SketchUp
- Preparing renderings & presentations using Photoshop, Enscape, InDesign & Illustrator
