Summary

Join Eventbase as an Intermediate Quality Assurance Engineer to enhance the user experience of mobile apps through manual and automated testing. This is a full-time remote position based on Eastern Standard Timezone hours for candidates residing in Canada with valid working status. The salary range is $68,000 - $75,000 annually.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 4-6 years of experience working in QA, with at least 3 years experience as an Automation Engineer
  • Strong experience with mobile applications and exposure to cloud-based testing platforms
  • Proficiency in Object Oriented programming preferably Python is a must
  • Experience with test automation tools such as Appium, Cypress
  • Hands on Experience with testing RESTful data services
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment

Responsibilities

  • Develop, document and maintain manual test cases, automated test scripts and other test artifacts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements and deliverables
  • Identify, record, and track software defects, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution
  • Perform a combination of both automation and manual testing, for mobile and web applications
  • Design and implement automated test scripts and frameworks to streamline testing processes
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to improve the overall quality of software products

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and tools, like Jenkins
  • ISTQB or similar software testing certification
