Intermediate Software Developer

Summary

Join MEDFAR Clinical Solutions, a leading healthcare technology company, as an Intermediate Software Developer to design, develop, and maintain programs for Labgen LIS, our Laboratory Information System.

Requirements

• You have 2-3+ years of C or C++ development experience
• You have hands-on experience in Linux/Unix OS
• You are comfortable discussing computer science concepts (algorithm complexity, data structures, searching, and sorting algorithms)
• RESTful APIs experience is an asset
• You have experience with Javascript, and any Javascript library, and/or framework (i.e.: ReactJS, Sencha/EXTJS) an asset
• Project management experience is an asset
• Customer management experience is an asset

Responsibilities

• Help design, develop, test, and maintain the software in accordance with functional requirements and scope of work
• Contribute to team discussions
• Focus on quality and continuous improvement of applications and processes
• Step up when the situation demands such as meeting deadlines and resolving critical production issues
• Ensure project timelines are met
• Engage with customer conversations on product suggestions and design changes
• Management of projects and deliverables to the client
