You will collaborate with various teams, including UI, QA, and SRE, to ensure high-quality software delivery. The position offers a hybrid/remote work model and is located in Bangalore, India.

Requirements

  • 3-4 years of Software Development Experience with at least 1 year with Python programming language
  • 3 years of experience developing REST APIs with at least 1 year with AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, and API Gateway
  • 1 years of experience with AWS services like IAM, Event Bridge, SNS, SQS, EC2
  • Experience in troubleshooting and debugging code/processes developed by others
  • A passion for writing unit tests for your code
  • Experience in providing high quality feedback during peer-review to ensure technical accuracy, and high technical standards
  • Experience in writing Infrastructure as Code like Cloud formation, AWS CDK, or Terraform
  • Experience Networking concepts like Subnets, VPCs and Security groups

Responsibilities

  • Develop high quality, easily understandable, fully unit tested software satisfying Definition of Done including safe deployment tests
  • Participating in design discussions with Head of Stream Automation, Product Owners and Solution Architects for adding new or improving existing features
  • Taking a feature from scoping requirement to actual launch in our cloud platform
  • Design & document requirements/features/API
  • Close collaboration with UI & QA team
  • Collaborate with SRE team to improve system observability, incident response, and troubleshooting
  • Engage with and involve QA team where an integration/end-to-end test is required
  • Learn continuously to improve yourself and mentoring Junior Engineers
  • Participate in peer review of code for technical accuracy, ensuring technical standards are met

Preferred Qualifications

  • Some experience in Open Telemetry
  • Some experience in API spec
  • Some understanding about E2E testing frameworks
