Intermediate/Senior Software Engineer

Summary

Join Dev.Pro, a US-based outsourcing company, as a Software Engineer for a short-term project integrating a leading payment processing solution provider's Payroll system and POS software. You will work remotely from Brazil, Argentina, or Colombia, contributing to the successful integration of the client's Payroll HCM system with restaurant POS APIs. This role requires strong PHP skills, experience with frontend development using JavaScript frameworks like Angular or React.js, and a proven track record of API integration.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with backend development using PHP
• Strong proficiency in modern PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony)
• Proven expertise in API integration
• Familiarity with frontend JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React.js)
• Strong experience with unit testing
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Upper-Intermediate English level
• Adaptability, autonomy, initiative, and a strong sense of accountability

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using PHP (Laravel)
• Build and support frontend features with Angular
• Integrate and manage APIs to connect Payroll and POS systems
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to define technical requirements
• Write unit tests and ensure high code quality standards
• Troubleshoot bugs, integration issues, and performance bottlenecks
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to successful planning and delivery

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Node.js
• Hands-on experience with Zend
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure and AWS
