Intern IT Infrastructure Engineer

Join us at Lucid, a leading luxury electric and mobility company, as we seek an IT Infrastructure Engineering intern. This role requires a passionate student with basic understanding of computer networks and a passion for working on EVs.

Requirements

• Good understanding of computer networks, hardware, and software systems
• Knowledge in Infrastructure Systems, Storage, Data Center Virtualization, and Cloud environments such as VMware, Dell Isilon, Dell VxRail, and AWS
• Excellent understanding of wired and wireless computer networks, Microsoft Active Directory, AWS, and automation
• Exposure to a professional IT environment with some hands-on experience
• Understanding of mission-critical services and applications in an enterprise environment
• Customer service-oriented with strong interpersonal and leadership skills

Responsibilities

• Assist with the development of automation scripts and tools to help build reliable, fault-tolerant systems, network, and cloud infrastructure
• Assist with the implementation of automation using tools such as Python, Terraform, cloud formation templates, and other similar tools
• Contribute to the documentation of IT processes, procedures, and configurations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
• Highly autonomous, pragmatic, and organized
• Eagerness to learn and a strong desire to gain practical experience in IT infrastructure management
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Perform other duties as required
