Intern, Light-Duty EV Charging Data And Systems

Summary

Join CALSTART as a Light-Duty EV Charging Data & Systems Intern and contribute to improving program efficiency and scalability. This 3-month, part-time internship (25 hours/week) focuses on organizing and streamlining data systems, automating workflows, and optimizing internal processes. You will transfer and integrate data, develop automations, clean up file systems, and assist with data analysis and visualization. The role supports CALSTART's goal of securing a program extension and building a self-sustaining model. The internship offers the opportunity for extension.

Requirements

• Ability to maintain structured databases and file systems
• Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Monday.com, WordPress forms) and automation tools
• Experience with data visualization tools and strong attention to detail
• Identify inefficiencies and streamline workflows
• Work independently while collaborating with the team

Responsibilities

• Transfer and integrate data from WordPress forms into Monday.com
• Develop automations linking emails, CRM systems, and data collection forms
• Clean up and structure file systems for long-term usability
• Assist with reports and dashboards using Excel, SQL, Tableau, or Power BI
• Provide insights from program data to inform stakeholder engagement and outreach strategies

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience or coursework in data management, automation, or CRM systems
• Familiarity with Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP), SQL, Tableau, or Power BI
• Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Information Systems, Business, Environmental Studies, Sustainability, Public Policy, or a related field
• Interest in clean transportation, EV adoption, and sustainability
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
