Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related field (or equivalent practical work experience)
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in internationalization engineering or a related discipline
  • Strong technical knowledge of AI and Machine Translation technologies
  • Proficiency with localization project management tools and processes
  • Experience with Power BI or other data visualization platforms to track metrics and generate reports
  • Familiarity with localization best practices, Agile development methodologies, and software development lifecycles
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work effectively across diverse teams and regions
  • Experience managing a Translation Management System (TMS), such as Phrase or similar TMS, and acting as the first point of contact for TMS and API-related issues

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement solutions to ensure that our software products and systems can be easily adapted for global markets
  • Work closely with the development team to integrate internationalization features into the software development lifecycle
  • Oversee Product localization projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery of translations and regional adaptations
  • Collaborate with translation teams and stakeholders to prioritize features, content, and languages for localization
  • Work on integrating Artificial Intelligence and Machine Translation technologies into our systems
  • Assist with the development of AI-driven solutions to automate and optimize translation workflows, improve content accuracy, and enhance the overall localization process
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports in Power BI to track internationalization, localization, and translation metrics
  • Provide actionable insights to stakeholders based on the data, ensuring informed decision-making
  • Manage the Translation Management System (TMS), such as Phrase or similar TMS, ensuring smooth operations, system integration, and efficient workflows
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the team regarding TMS and API-related issues
  • Work closely with product managers, developers, UX/UI teams, and business stakeholders to ensure that localization needs are met
  • Provide guidance on best practices for internationalization and localization
  • Assist the Testing Team to ensure that localized content is properly integrated and that internationalization features work seamlessly across all platforms and regions
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in internationalization, localization, AI, and Machine Translation
  • Recommend improvements and drive innovation within the localization and internationalization processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed localization considerations early in the product development process, minimizing potential issues when targeting new markets
