Intern-Graphics Designer

Summary

The job is an internship in the Planning and Engagement department of JEO, a multidisciplinary firm. The intern will work at least 20 hours/week in the Omaha office, assisting in various design tasks and developing design skills.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an associate’s or bachelor’s degree program in graphic design, information design, or a related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign and Illustrator
• Basic understanding of design principles and desktop publishing

Responsibilities

• Assist in Visualizing Complex Information
• Follow Brand Standards
• Support Infographic and Visual Content Creation
• Assist in Multimedia Content Creation

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with video editing and motion graphics software, such as Premiere Pro and/or AfterEffects
• Interest or experience in website development or content management systems (CMS)
• Familiarity with ArcGIS
