Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or related field
- 3 - 5 years of experience in Inventory Management
- Proficiency in Excel, ERP or inventory tools, as well as 3PL / fulfillment reporting solutions and EDI platforms
- Familiarity with procurement processes
- Experience analyzing and reporting financial data and deliverables
- Outstanding analytical skills with demonstrated success organizing, analyzing and accurately interpreting large amounts of data
- Outstanding communication (both verbal and written) and relationship management skills
- Ability to prioritize workload to deliver against key metrics and continuously improve customer experience
Responsibilities
- Ensure inventory accuracy by coordinating inventories and goods on hand at each facility to align with our ERP system
- Lead team to reconcile inventory and inventory clearing to achieve EOM close timeline
- Lead process optimization to improve supply chain visibility; supporting new systems, processes and tools
- Lead internal communications across Operations and Cross-functionally to keep all parties informed
- Share BOM setup with co-manufacturer and validate setup in their system
- Formulate transactional process, provide reporting requirements, and approve reporting formats (Production, Receiving, Shipping, Inventory)
- Validate setup BOM
- Review co-manufacturer cost cards & POβs for tolling & cost accuracy
- Summarize yield/attainment and production/receiving #s for QBRs
- Audit co-manufacturing tolling account for receiving accuracy
- Oversee management of work orders, assemblies, inventory receipts, and inventory adjustments
- Manage daily communications with co-manufacturers and distribution centers regarding reporting, inventory, discrepancies, production attainment, BOM setup, new item setup, temporary changes
- Direct timing & execution plan for month & quarter end inventory at each facility
- Develop and monitor all key functions related to inventory transactions to assure that they are accurate and timely
- Oversee invoices for accuracy to receipts
- Work cross functionally with Finance to reconcile POs, receipts and invoices
- Facilitate communication between Finance, facilities Finance & Operation teams, providing additional details/documents/product tracking as needed
- Utilizing cost accounting tools and material trackers, alert management of discrepancies for root cause analysis and corrective action
- Collect reports and data to mitigate invoice discrepancies
- Provide inventory dashboard weekly for planning team and escalate any found discrepancies
