Summary

GLC Advisors & Co. is seeking an exceptionally talented Associate for their Restructuring practice in New York. The Associate will be responsible for planning, structuring, and executing corporate finance transactions with a focus on restructurings and recapitalizations. Prior experience as an associate within an investment bank is required.

Requirements

• Exceptional work ethic, intellectual curiosity, leadership and analytical aptitude
• Prior experience working as associate within an investment bank is required
• Strong modeling and financial statement analysis skill
• Knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Bloomberg and other financial information tools
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor's Degree required

Responsibilities

• Planning, structuring and executing corporate finance transactions with an emphasis on restructurings and recapitalizations
• Interfacing with clients as well as legal counsel to drive transaction execution
• Managing deal teams and working with analysts to develop financial models, valuation analyses and presentations
• Preparing presentations and analysis used for client interactions

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrable managerial experience preferred
• Proven self-starter
