iOS Developer

Summary

Join Brightwell, a global fintech leader, and become an iOS Developer in our Bogotá office (remote within the metro area). You will design and build user-focused iOS apps and SDKs, collaborating with product managers and designers. Responsibilities include writing clean, maintainable code, troubleshooting issues, and staying current with iOS technologies. You will contribute to architectural decisions and work with back-end engineers. This role requires 5+ years of iOS development experience, strong Swift skills, and experience with REST APIs and testing methodologies. Requirements

• 5+ years of iOS development experience building consumer-facing apps
• Strong Swift skills and hands-on experience with both SwiftUI and UIKit
• Comfortable working with REST APIs, JSON, WebSocket, and push notifications
• Experienced with Git and CI/CD pipelines
• Familiar with unit testing, integration testing, and Agile workflows
• Strong communication skills in English—this is our primary working language
• Passion for great user experiences and a keen eye for detail
• Based in the Bogotá metro area (required)

Responsibilities

• Design and build beautiful, user-focused iOS apps and SDKs using Swift, UIKit, and SwiftUI
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to define, build, and launch new features
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that prioritizes performance and security
• Troubleshoot issues, squash bugs, and optimize app performance
• Stay up to date with the latest iOS technologies and share insights with your team
• Contribute to architectural decisions and improve our development practices
• Work closely with back-end engineers to integrate APIs and services
