iOS Engineer

Summary

Join Treatwell as a Mid-Level iOS Engineer and contribute to building our customer-facing apps. We are an Agile team using Scrum and XP practices, focusing on Domain-Driven Design and eventual consistency. Our tech stack includes Swift, SwiftUI, Combine, async/await, and Xcode Cloud. You will work on a variety of technologies, write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, participate in code reviews, and support the deployment process. We value testability and performance, and encourage staying up-to-date with the latest Apple technologies. Treatwell offers a collaborative and passionate team environment.

Requirements

• You have solid experience building iOS applications with Swift and UIKit and/or SwiftUI
• You’ve built high quality mobile interfaces using modern technologies and practices
• You know good UX and visual design when you see it
• You’ve been part of a high-performing, autonomous Agile development team and you get a kick out of shipping
• You’re a good communicator, fun to work with and enjoy being part of a vocal, passionate team
• You’re active in the software development community, whether through blogs, meetups, personal projects or open source contribution

Responsibilities

• Working as part of a cross functional Agile team writing and shipping clean, well-documented, and easy-to-maintain code frequently
• Working on a variety of exciting technologies (iOS SDKs, async/await, UIKit, SwiftUI, SPM, Xcode Cloud)
• Writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code with an eye on testability and performance
• Participating in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and learning sessions with your teammates
• Supporting the deployment process using CI/CD tools like Xcode Cloud and monitoring app performance
• Troubleshooting and fixing bugs and technical problems
• Keeping up-to-date with the latest trends and emerging technologies released by Apple
