IT Business Analyst

Summary
Join European Dynamics as a remote IT Business Analyst fluent in English. You will be integrated into a team collaborating with a major client's IT team. Responsibilities include analyzing and documenting business models, creating business cases, conducting risk analysis, and designing applications. You will also manage Agile project activities, conduct testing, and support development teams. This role requires a university degree in IT or a relevant field, along with extensive experience in IT business and functional analysis, Agile project management, and various modeling techniques. Requirements
- University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with a minimum of 11 years of relevant working experience in IT
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT Business & Functional analysis
- Minimum 5 years of experience with UML and BPMN and other modeling techniques (Use Case Diagrams, State Diagrams, ER Models, Interaction Diagrams, etc.)
- Minimum 5 years of experience with JIRA
- Minimum 5 years of experience with ArchiMate
- Experience in writing detailed Business and Functional analysis and in producing structured documentation (UML diagrams, Use Cases, Mock-ups, etc.)
- Experience in designing multilayer applications and integration points
- Experience with Agile Project Management including backlog management, grooming and refinement sessions, iterative planning and delivery, estimation techniques and incremental development
- Experience in testing (design, execution, documentation)
- Experience in web applications
- Good knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g. RUP, Agile)
- Good knowledge of SQL for DB consultation
- Excellent command of the English language
Responsibilities
- Analyze and document business models, processes, and requirements
- Assist in the creation of business cases, vision documents, project charters, and security plans
- Conduct risk analysis
- Assess the integration of various information systems
- Design multilayer applications and integration points
- Plan and manage Agile project activities, including backlog management, refinement sessions, estimation techniques, and incremental development
- Conduct testing, including test design, execution, and documentation
- Support development teams and perform iterative testing of solutions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as Product Owner or Scrum Master would be an advantage
- A certification related to Business analysis would be considered as an advantage
