Remote IT EDI Tester

Summary

The job is for a remote IT EDI Tester position that lasts at least 12 months. The role involves QA and testing work related to the Managed Care Transition Project, focusing on EDI applications and Healthcare Claims Processing Testing.

Requirements

• Demonstrated Experience in Testing EDI Applications
• Hands on experience to develop and execute test scripts for HIPAA X12 EDI Transactions such as 837I, 837P and NCPDP D.0
• Develop SQL queries
• Script automated Test Suites
• Review, analyze and report of test results
• Experience with Test and Defect Management Tools. HP ALM, JIRA preferred
• Test web applications
• Work with end users to ensure user acceptance testing is thorough and complete
• Proficiency in MS Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Knowledge of Agile Methodology
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to both technical and business audiences
• Local candidates only accepted

Responsibilities

• Perform QA and Testing work related to the Managed Care Transition Project
• Experience assessing the testability of requirements and developing test cases based on Business Requirements and Software Design Documents
• Execute functional, integration, and regression tests

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the review, analysis and reporting of test results
• Proven experience developing SQL queries
• Experience in scripting automated Test Suites
