Join our team as an IT Helpdesk Support specialist, assisting content partners with video data transfer. This role blends customer support, technical troubleshooting, and hands-on data operations using AWS and automation scripts. You will coordinate with partners via email and Slack, troubleshoot file transfer issues, develop automation scripts, manage files, and provide Salesforce support. The position requires basic scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar), strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent written communication. It's a remote, full-time position with flexible hours but requires availability to support partners across various time zones. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in technical support, customer service, or data operations.
Requirements
- Basic scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar) to automate file transfers
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues
- Excellent written English communication skills for supporting partners over email and Slack
- Flexible working hours, but must be available to support partners in various time zones
- Must have reliable internet and a stable work setup to handle large file transfers
- USB Headset with Noise Cancellation feature
- Working Webcam
- Computer with at least 1.8 GHz processor and at least 4GB RAM
- Main Internet Service Speed: at least 25 Mbps cable connection
- Backup Internet Service Speed: at least 10 Mbps
Responsibilities
- Partner Coordination – Communicate with content partners over email and Slack to assist with data transfer
- Technical Support – Troubleshoot and resolve issues when partners face problems copying files
- Scripting & Automation – Develop parallelized scripts to download files from a CSV list of URLs and upload them to our S3 storage
- File Management – Organize and move files as needed when partners make mistakes in their transfers
- Salesforce Support – Assist with Salesforce-related integrations and workflows as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Salesforce integrations is a plus
- Previous experience in technical support, customer service, or data operations is preferred
